For the second year in a row, working alongside nonprofit @whoweplayfor, Rhea and other CPR-certified students trained 160 students in CPR and #bystander response, and encouraged all students to get regular heart screenings. Today, we officially launch Six Minutes to Live: Santa Cruz, a strategic partnership with the Santa Cruz Fire Chiefs Association, @santacruzpolice, @santacruz_fire, @santacruzcountyso and others to strengthen the community’s response to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). Through bystander #CPR training, promotion of public access #AEDs, community #education, and training youth in our schools, we aim to increase survival rates from #SCA.
